By now, most of us understand that sun exposure is responsible for up to 80% of visible skin ageing… but many people still worry that wearing SPF will stop their body producing vitamin D.

A recent study published in the British Journal of Dermatology confirmed that sunscreen does not prevent vitamin D production ✨

Your treatment doesn’t stop when you leave the clinic — aftercare is just as important for achieving the best results 🤍

Here are a few simple tips to help your skin heal beautifully after Microneedling:
💧 Keep your skin hydrated
Use gentle, hydrating products to support the healing process.
☀️ Wear SPF daily
Your skin will be more sensitive after treatment, so SPF is a must — even on cloudy days.
🚫 Avoid active skincare for a few days
Avoid retinol, acids, exfoliants, and harsh products until your skin has settled.
💄 Skip makeup for 24 hours
Let your skin breathe and recover properly.
🔥 Avoid heat & sweating
Try to avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, and intense workouts for 24–48 hours.
🤍 Don’t pick or touch your skin

A little redness or dryness can be completely normal — allow your skin to heal naturally.
Results improve over the following weeks as your skin begins to repair and regenerate ✨
