Autumn is a great time of year, crisp leaves to crunch under foot, a slight frost amongst the tree's and the chance of a few warming fires. I have never really been into the level of exposure required for an online media presence (surprisingly I like to keep my private life private) I also know that social media causes immense amounts of anxiety and has a dark side that has once again been in the spotlight after the tragic death of Molly Russell. As a Hypnotherapist I get so frustrated when people who consider themselves to be rational tell me Hypnosis isn’t real. I am immediately drawn to our consumerist lifestyle and the way big food manufacturers have made eating processed food normal, we have been conditioned to eat things that actively make us physically and mentally sick. My background is in science and I understand the skepticism but the enemy that is making us all sick successfully uses all these techniques for nothing more than profit. After the first lockdown the police had to be called to the KFC in Preston because the traffic was so blocked up it was becoming dangerous. If the first thing you are drawn to after a traumatic event such as a pandemic lockdown is a piece of mass produced fried chicken then don’t tell me hypnotism doesn’t exist! Don’t just take my word for it, give this podcast a listen, as far as I know these two aren’t airy fairy hippies wanting to destroy capitalism, they are scientists interested in reporting the latest findings with an aim to improve public health.
