‘Being told I might not make my 30th birthday was the wake-up call I needed.’
After learning that his weight was putting his life at risk, all John could think of was his family – and the moments he’d miss unless he made a significant change 💔… so that’s what he did.
With the support he found at his local Slimming World group, John lost a staggering 16st 12lbs (107kg) and turned his life around. Instead of being at risk of dying young, he’s now feeling healthy, confident and excited for the future – and has maintained his weight for more than two years 👏.
This Men’s Health Week, John is joining us in encouraging all men to prioritise their wellbeing – his advice to anybody thinking about joining Slimming World is to take that first step 🤗.
