One of the hardest sets of lips I’ve ever had to inject. 🤍

This client had lip filler elsewhere over 18 months ago, and unfortunately, her lips were left looking like this almost immediately after being treated.

The impact wasn’t just aesthetic. She told me she hadn’t smiled with her lips since having the filler done.

When she came to me, dissolving would have been my first option to consider, but for multiple reasons, this wasn’t possible in her case.

That meant I had to work with what was there and carefully try to improve the appearance of her lips without being able to start from a completely clean slate.

Cases like this are challenging because sometimes the goal isn’t perfection, it’s simply to make things better than they were while working within the limitations of the existing tissue and previous treatment.

I’m genuinely so glad I could help her. 🥹🤍

This is also a reminder that lip filler isn’t always as simple as “adding more”. Previous filler, tissue changes and the way the lips have responded to treatment all need to be considered before deciding what the safest and most appropriate approach is.

And sometimes, the most important result isn’t just how the lips look…

…it’s giving someone the confidence to smile again. 🤍
