Our residents had a wonderful afternoon filled with singing, dancing, clapping along, and plenty of smiles. Music has such a special way of bringing back happy memories, and it was lovely to see everyone joining in and enjoying themselves.

🌿 A Lovely Trip to Cherryburn! 🌿

One of our wonderful residents recently enjoyed a lovely afternoon visiting Cherryburn, the birthplace of Thomas Bewick. It was a beautiful opportunity to take in the peaceful surroundings, explore the history of the area, and enjoy some fresh air and nature.

Days like these are so important, creating special memories, encouraging conversation, and bringing plenty of smiles along the way. 💚 At Havendene, we love supporting our residents to get out into the community and enjoy meaningful experiences that reflect their interests

☕️ Thursday Coffee Morning ☕️

It’s always a highlight of the week, giving everyone the opportunity to get out into the community, catch up with familiar faces, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and of course, have a good chat! These outings help our residents stay connected, build friendships, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere created by our local community.

A huge thank you to everyone at the parish hall for making us feel so welcome each week. We always look forward to visiting and appreciate the kindness and hospitality shown to our residents.

⚽️ Football Fever at Havendene! ❤️🤍

Last night our residents came together to enjoy the England vs Argentina World Cup semi-final, proudly wearing their England hats, waving flags and cheering the team on every step of the way!

Although the final score wasn’t the result we had hoped for, with England narrowly losing 2-1, it certainly didn’t dampen the atmosphere. There was plenty of cheering, laughter, friendly football chat and, most importantly, lots of smiles.

Events like these are about so much more than the result—they’re about bringing people together, sharing memories and enjoying special moments with friends.

Come on England… there’s always next time! ⚽🏴

Our residents enjoyed a lovely trip to the parish hall this morning for some delicious treats and refreshments. Coffee morning is always a huge hit and something we really enjoy doing!
