Even after 9 years working in medical aesthetics , I still fear something going wrong in my hands.
Bruising, swelling, lumps and bumps - the majority of injectors could deal with.
But many wouldn’t know how to deal with the really serious implications - tissue damage, visual loss, stroke.
But these are all possibilities when we inject faces.
So fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from one of the pioneers in the field of aesthetics in the UK yesterday Gillian Murray .
Reassurance that my emergency kit carries all the medications I need , and clear protocols to follow should the worst happen.
