The yellow thing in the sky will be working overtime this week

We are currently working our way through the diary to make sure we keep all the dogs as safe as possible and will be adjusting / cancelling appointments where necessary

I know it sounds like a lovely thing to bring your dog for a swim instead of a walk but please remember our pool is heated and swimming is a cardio workout which means it get the blood flowing around the body and can increase internal temperature. Older dogs and brachcephalic dogs being effected more so

You also have to consider the journey too and from the centre, getting stuck in traffic with a dog in the car is dangerous especially in the Peak of the heat

If you would like to change your appointment please let us know as early as possible

- Find the X on a tennis ball (in a paddling pool)
- Fun Dog Show, 20 classes (with an extra free class afterwards), trophy for all winners with rosettes from 1st to 6th.
- Keepsake paw print of your dog for you to take home

🥵☀️ITS GOING TO BE A HOT ONE THIS WEEK 🥵☀️

If you have an appointment with us this week please please consider the following before you come

🔥 check your route for any traffic or accidents
🔥 does your car have air con?
🔥 make sure you have cold water in the car
🔥 how long is your journey going to take?
🔥 how well does your dog cope with the heat (please consider your breed of dog as some cope with the heat better than others)

☀️ we will be leaving dogs wetter than normal after there swim this week
☀️ we will also do less swimming time if we feel your dog is struggling

Please note the pool is heated to 30 degrees (hydrotherapy is not cold water swimming)

We have fresh cold water available if needed

Happy 15th Birthday to this absolute legend Jazzie
Some of you may recognise Jazzie as being our former receptionist Barbara's dog. What you may not know is Barbara bought Jazzie swimming way before she started working for us. Jazzie was only 10 months old making her one of the longest standing dogs we have here at the moment!
