The short answer? Wear whatever you like!

The most important thing is that you’re comfortable - and that looks different for everyone.

For some it’ll mean sweatpants and an old t-shirt, for others it’s a gym co-ord set.

Maybe you like shorts, or perhaps you prefer yoga pants. The only real requirement is that you can move easily and freely.

In truth, no one cares what you’re wearing, because everyone’s busy focussing on their own practice and goals.

So don’t let clothes be a barrier to starting yoga, we promise the only thing that really matters is turning up!

We love helping people feel better in their body.

Our classes use movement as a tool to help improve both your mental and physical wellbeing. But we also offer a number of other treatments to help you feel your best, including -

Osteopathy:
BEST FOR: treating musculoskeletal pain, such as lower back pain, neck pain, joint stiffness, and sports injuries

Soft Tissue Massage:
BEST FOR: relieving chronic muscle tension, reducing pain, and increasing mobility by targeting muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia

Stretch Sessions:
BEST FOR: increasing flexibility and joint range of motion, reducing muscle stiffness, and promoting relaxation. They are most effective when done consistently, rather than as a one-time activity, to achieve long-term improvements in physical function

Wellbeing Massage:
BEST FOR: reducing stress, easing chronic muscle tension, improving sleep quality, and enhancing overall mental and physical health

Exercise prescription: 1 to 1 sessions
BEST FOR: treating conditions like diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, obesity, osteoarthritis, and cancer recovery, while optimizing long-term health, mobility, and independence

It’s something we hear all the time. But here’s the great news - you don’t need to be!

Yes flexibility is one of the many wonderful side-effects of practising yoga, but it’s certainly not a requirement for starting.

Whether you’re a total beginner, or looking to grow your practice, at Yoga Reading we have classes to suit you. And it doesn’t have to be yoga. Perhaps you want to try Pilates, or maybe you’re interested in strength, there really is something for everyone!

Let us tempt you out of that nappy nest with Mum & Baby Yoga!

The new blocks of our popular Mum & Baby classes start on the Wednesday 13th and Friday 15th May, and we’d love to see you there!

Designed to gently support your postpartum recovery and bond with your baby, these relaxed and welcoming sessions are a wonderful way of injecting a little self-care into your week.

What to expect
✨ Gentle strengthening with particular focus on pelvic floor, posture and core
✨ Learn stretches to comfort and support baby’s development
✨ Discover tools to regulate the nervous system
✨ Meet other new mums
