With a deep bow of gratitude for all Thích Nhất Hạnh brought to the world, sending much love to the Plum Village community... 🙏🏽🙏🏽

"This body is not me; I am not caught in this body, I am life without boundaries, I have never been born and I have never died. Over there, the wide ocean and the sky with many galaxies all manifests from the basis of consciousness. Since beginningless time I have always been free. Birth and death are only a door through which we go in and out. Birth and death are only a game of hide-and-seek. So smile to me and take my hand and wave good-bye. Tomorrow we shall meet again or even before. We shall always be meeting again at the true source. Always meeting again on the myriad paths of life."

It is such an honour to be to involved with the My Cancer My Choices charity and teach the Breathwork’s Mindfulness for Stress courses. Particularly now in these uncertain and challenging times when people can be safe in their own homes.
So I was so surprised to see Mandy Barter the inspirational and compassionate lead of the charity at my doorstep. saying a big thank you and presenting me with this gift of gratitude from the charity! ❤️🙏😊

You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.

Why did you spill the coffee?

"Because someone bumped into me!!!"

Wrong answer.

You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.

Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.

*Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.*

Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.

*So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"*

When life gets tough, what spills over?

Joy, gratefulness, peace and humility?

Anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions?

Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.

Today let's work toward filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation; and kindness, gentleness and love.
