Training opportunities coming up at Carers Break CIC with Trusted Training
Half day training sessions is £45 per person
Full day training sessions is £80 per person
(Where two half day courses are on the same date, a delegate can choose one or both sessions).

* 11th November 2026 - Adult Safeguarding LVL 3.
* 13th November 2026 - Food Safety Certificate Level 2.
* 16th & 17th Nov 2026 - Mental Health 1st aid.
* 20th November 2026 - Personal Care and Safe Moving and Handling of people-Practical.
* 24th November 2026 - Dementia Awareness & MCA & Dols.
* 27th November 2026 - Medication awareness & Sepsis

Win a weeks holiday!-As a Social Enterprise we are designed to benefit the community we serve. Over the years we have supported several worthy organisations such as Memory Matters, MS Centre, Cornwall Hospice. This year we have decided to support Charlie’s Star Charity to ‘Create Hope and Smiles’ for bereaved families who live in the Southwest of England, that have lost a child under the age of 19, by providing them with a fully funded 7-day respite break in Cornwall.
Carers Break have bought 2 weeks of respite in May/June 2027. In the weeks ahead we will be creating a raffle where one of those weeks can be won. Every penny of the funds raised will also be donated to Charlie’s Star Charity. The second week already purchased by Carers Break will be auctioned for the same purpose.
The winners of each week are free to use the holiday or give it away to someone they love, a friend in need or even a complete stranger.

Whether you work for a domiciliary care company or directly for an individual or family, safe medication support depends on having the right knowledge and skills.

Some private care arrangements are exempt from CQC registration, but relevant NICE guidance still recommends appropriate training and assessment of competence for the medication support provided.

Fantastic achievement and proud to be a part of it Carers Break CIC

We did it! Cornwall Hospice now proudly hold the title for Largest Cream Tea Party! 2483 people came together to enjoy one of Cornwall’s favourite treats and beat the previous record of 1,088, held in Beijing.
