If you’re not willing to fail, you’re going to struggle to succeed.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned through challenging myself in my 50s, is that failure is part of the process.
I’ve failed workouts.
I’ve failed challenges.
I’ve made poor choices.
I’ve started things that haven’t worked.
But every one of those experiences has taught me something.
What worked.
What didn’t.
What I need to change next time.
The problem isn’t failing.
The problem is treating failure as a reason to stop.
When you’re trying to become stronger, fitter and healthier after 50, things won’t always go according to plan.
You’ll miss workouts.
You’ll have bad weeks.
You’ll make mistakes.
That’s normal.
Successful people don’t avoid failure.
They learn from it, adjust and keep going.
That’s how you build resilience.
And that’s how failure eventually becomes part of your success.
Don’t be afraid of getting it wrong. Be afraid of allowing one failure to stop you moving forward. 💪
