Three Rivers Craniosacral Therapy Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a subtle yet powerful way to reconnect with our inherent health

Three Rivers Craniosacral Therapist Ben Ash trained in a Biodynamic approach to this profound work with the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust. Craniosacral therapy is a gentle body-based therapy that works with the body's innate capacity to heal itself. The subtle, respectful and non-invasive nature of Craniosacral therapy means that it is suitable for adults, babies and children, and women d

uring pregnancy. As a biodynamic therapist I offer my clients the space to meet their unique embodied 'me-ness' in an open minded and non-judgmental environment, where Stillness is sensed to underpin and centre the living dynamism that is the natural expression of the forces of health.

50% DISCOUNT! Come and discover Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy with me for only £42.50 by using the 50% DISCOUNT offer this Month at my new London clinic. Starting this Wednesday 13th May in the afternoon, I am so delighted to begin offering Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy appointments at Siobhan Davies Studios.
I’ve been looking to offer appointments in Central London for quite some time and am very excited to be able to explore this in a place that is very dear to my heart, almost a home from home, where so much embodied creative practice through dance and movement research has and still does take place.
A central passion of mine with Craniosacral therapy practice is that seen in one way the practice rests somewhere in the in-between of stillness and movement, with an emphasis on embodiment and the felt-sense. Dance practice could also be described in the same way.
I perceive CST as a facilitative process, where rather than something being ‘done’ to you as a passive recipient, you are very much a collaborator and participant in the session.
Sessions will take place in the Study on the first floor, which is gradually transforming into a treatment space again.
There is access to the first floor via a lift should you require it. I am now taking bookings for sessions for this Wednesday the 13th May, so please get in touch to discuss availability with me and arrange an appointment, 5 appointments available, first come first served!
Siobhan Davies Studios is found near Elephant and Castle and just down from the Imperial War Museum and the Tibetan Peace Garden at 85 St George’s Road, London, SE1 6ER https://www.siobhandavies.com/contact
Looking forward to this immensely and hoping to see you there!

Over the last few months, I've been spending a good amount of time listening to the audio recording of James Low's 2025 teaching Open to life on the Dzogchen retreat at Emerson College

The teachings in this tradition are beautifully bought to life in through a contemporary lens thanks to James’ practise and embodied understanding. In the tradition it’s beautifully illustrated that the body/mind is the site of all experience as a continual process where experience arises, abides and dissolves... for if it weren't a process and it was fixed then nothing could ever happen because of this fixedness! but if you try to find a definite point at which you can say ‘well this is the mind’ or ‘this is the body’, that concrete, conceptual stability starts to breakdown, it cannot hold true, because there's no ‘Thing’ that one can arrive on in definitive terms to say ‘it's this?’

Why do I find this experiential understanding a profound impactful way of seeing and viewing in relation to Craniosacral therapy practise? So many clients are holding on to ‘fixedness’ in their symptoms and core beliefs!

Whatever the conditions that arise in our experience, be they positive, negative or neutral, they are phenomenological processes that are transitory, life is impermanent, life is change.
And yet, our sense of Being through which all of this passes is always present and unchanged by whatever passes through this awareness! This is a deeply compassionate gesture towards even the most difficult unwanted experiences, and the most magnetically attractive experiences. That one can experience them fully without being taken over completely by them applies this understanding to the felt-sense of whatever manifests in Craniosacral therapy sessions as the body’s history shows up. It enables a loosening-up and freeing within the session work that can carry over into a carefree dignity in life.

If you're interested to explore Craniosacral therapy sessions with me that emerge from this orientation, please follow the links in my bio to book or get in touch for 20 minute free resonance call if there's anything that you would like to discuss in advance, I'd welcome hearing from you

Flow well!

Using the WHHQ questionnaire periodically across a series of sessions supports clients to track the meaningful change they experience through the CST sessions. In this case from an initial baseline score of 18, to most recent score of 60, demonstrating a whopping 233% percentage increase! This means the increase itself is more than double the original value!
Meaningful change is experienced across the various interrelated and overlapping spheres which form the Wellbeing spectrum that is self-reported on by clients.
It’s an invitation and not mandatory.
As meaningful change takes place it highlights both where positive change is manifesting, alongside areas where there is still scope for a shift, this helps clients identify areas they may wish to focus on further as things clarify.
In my experience clients are often able to celebrate these changes, both in relation to the reasons they initially sought support through CST, and across areas of their lives that they didn’t consciously consider could be involved.
Curious to try regular sessions and experience meaningful change yourself?
I’m an approachable, trauma informed, compassionate, and relatable professional Craniosacral therapist in regular supervision and undertake regular CPD and post grad trainings. You can arrange a free 20min consultation by phone or zoom if you wish to meet me first.
I have a special interest in trauma resolution and ACE, and have experienced the profound benefits of CST in relation to my own trauma background.
