☀️ 🌴 Being tattooed in the heat 🌴 ☀️

Even though the weather has taken a turn again....we are hoping for a lovely summer, here are some tips and advice for getting tattooed during the warmer weather…

Being tattooed in the heat can be difficult, the hot weather can make us fatigued & also make us sweat and swell more 😥 🎻

Hydration: It's important to stay hydrated before & throughout your session.
Feel free to bring any drinks with you, we can also offer you water, tea, coffee (can’t promise it’ll be any good) and fizzy drinks here at the studio. 🥤 🧃

Comfort: Dress in lose, cool clothing that allows you to stay comfortable throughout your appointment 👚 🩳🩴

Eat: Ensure you've eaten before your session, keep your sugars and energy levels up. This will aid in preventing heat exhaustion 🍽️🥗

Time: Be prepared that your usual tolerance may be different during the heat.
Time your session accordingly and don't be afraid to communicate with your artist when you have had enough. ⏱️⌛️

Take care: As always, keep the area clean to avoid bacteria from sweat, and avoid sun exposure following your tattoo 🧼 🚿
