Course Content:.. Come and join us for a fun day in the private historical farm and woodlands and try your hand at fire making, den building, working with tools, making woodland art, wild food foraging and understanding herbal medicines. Learn how to:
Make a fire without match

Use tools safely
Build a den from woodland materials
Find and identify wild food

Course highlights:
Getting back to nature with your family
Spending the day in beautiful woodlands
Discovering the remains of Glottenham Castle
Tasting the delights of locally grown, reared, picked and foraged food
Welly walk up Glottenham Stream

What's included:
Expert bushcraft, art and herbalist tutors
Campfire cooked lunch & refreshments

Who should attend:
This course is suitable for families with children aged 3+ years. Please note, due to the nature of the terrain this course is not suitable for buggies. Please dress suitably and bring your wellies, especially if you want to walk in the stream! Cost:
To ensure that every participating family can enjoy the day to the full, this course is limited to a maximum of 25.
£20 adults
£12.50 children (3 - 16 years)
£55 for 2 adults & 2 children, extra kids £10 each

🔥 FREE Forest School for 11–16 year olds this summer!

Looking for something different for your teenager over the holidays?

We have a few FREE funded places on our 3-day Forest School at Glottenham Farm for young people aged 11–16 in East Sussex.

They'll spend three days outdoors learning real woodland skills, lighting fires safely, cooking over the campfire, using tools, making natural crafts, playing games and building confidence in nature.

Places are free for children receiving benefits-related Free School Meals or who are eligible through the wider East Sussex HAF scheme.
