π Layola Care β This Weekβs Little Wins π
As another week comes to an end, weβd like to take a moment to celebrate some of the achievements, milestones and positive moments from across Layola Care. It has been another busy week, and we are incredibly proud of our team and everything they continue to achieve. π
π Congratulations to Zoe Royle, who was awarded Employee of the Month, recognising her hard work, dedication and commitment to those she supports.
π A huge well done also to Heather Tetley, who received Employee of the Month recognition for consistently demonstrating our values, supporting her colleagues and delivering outstanding care and clinical leadership across the service.
π Two out of three monthly staff meetings were successfully held this week, providing an opportunity for staff to come together, share updates, celebrate successes and discuss developments across the organisation.
π Our Training Manager has successfully achieved the qualification to deliver Oliver McGowan Tier 2 Training, allowing us to further strengthen the specialist training opportunities available to our workforce.
π We were delighted to welcome a new Lead Educator to our on-site Layola Academy, supporting the continued growth and development of our training provision.
π Another exciting milestone this week has been the completion of the upstairs office development. This will support the launch of dedicated departments, separating our Domiciliary and Palliative Care services from our Childrenβs and Complex Care services, ensuring even more focused support for both our staff teams and the people we support.
π A huge congratulations to Freya, who successfully passed her driving test this week β a fantastic personal achievement and one that will support her future development within the organisation.
π Another Physical Intervention Training Course was completed this week, with six employees successfully passing, further strengthening our skills and knowledge across the workforce.
π Three employees completed an additional module of the Palliative Passport Programme in partnership with Springhill Hospice, continuing their professional development and enhancing the specialist support we can offer.
π Throughout the week, our staff have continued to provide compassionate, person-centred care, supporting individuals to achieve their goals, maintain their independence and enjoy meaningful experiences. The feedback received has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are incredibly proud of every member of our team.
π Above all, this week has demonstrated the strength of Team Layola. From training and development to service delivery and supporting one another, our staff have worked together with positivity, professionalism and kindness. We are incredibly proud of the care being delivered every day and the difference our team continues to make in peopleβs lives.
Thank you to every member of Team Layola for another fantastic week. We hope you all have a well-deserved and relaxing weekend. π
