The fund has replaced the Household Support Fund and is focused on helping people through financial shocks and preventing future hardship.

We're seeking 3 Market Town Participation Facilitators to support this epic cultural event in Romford — helping community performers feel confident, connected and ready to shine.

We're looking for people who:

🎭 Have facilitated or led groups in a community, performance or event setting
✨Are warm, confident and organised
🤝Are able to connect with people of all backgrounds
☺️Have great communication skills
💬Are able to give clear, supportive guidance

We’ve held our first Annual General Meeting since the May local elections, officially appointing the borough’s new administration.

Councillor Keith Prince AM has been confirmed as Leader of Havering Council, alongside a new Cabinet that will help shape priorities and oversee services across the borough.

The meeting also saw Councillor Maggie Themistocli appointed as the new Mayor of Havering, with Councillor Christine Vickery appointed Deputy Mayor.

Councillors also agreed appointments to committees and Member Champion roles that help oversee and scrutinise Council business.
