Faye's medicine hand drums and rattles are mostly made to order specific to each individuals energy and requirements. Drums can be made using either deer or pony hide at 13" (beautiful travelling or child's drum)15" or 18". Hoops are made from the wood available at the time. Faye works in a sacred way, ceremonially, honouring the spirits of both the animal and the tree throughout the birthing process. These drums will carry elements of each individual's energy and medicine as Faye works specifically with that as she does with the spirit of the wood and the animal. As soon as you tell her that you wish her to make you a drum, the healing work begins and will continue throughout the process. Yesterday was the first day of my Summer Solstice Maltese Temple Quest Retreat. Up at 5am to go get the ferry to Gozo, we were greeted by the rising sun on our way which was spectacular and then our private viewing in Ggantija Temple.

Tranquil and moving, I highly recommend paying the price to do this. We were given a generous hour and a half in there and it was a lovely way to start our connections to the Temples. I sang to some lizards, a previously channelled sound that I was gifted in Imnajdra Temple a couple of years ago. 😁 They loved it.

We found a snake and skull in one of the Temple stones.

It was already boiling hot by 8:30am and here's a top tip .. we were unable to find a bar open before 10am for breakfast. So if you do go, take some food with you!

We then went back to Malta via Ramla bay which we just had breakfast at as it is touristy and too busy and hit my happy place swimming and more swimming. And out for a lovely meal in a restaurant I have been wanting to try for years.

Back in my happy place. I landed yesterday afternoon here in Malta, went for a sunset swim and have just spent a couple of hours on one of my favourite beaches, mostly in the water. It's very hot and humid. Beautiful.

The lady who owns the house we are staying in was welcoming and kind, leaving us a beach umbrella and a big bottle of the famous Maltese Kinny drink 💜

Now back to the house to get ready to welcome my ladies who arrive later and the Summer Solstice Maltese Temple Quest Retreat starts 🌹🙏🏽

And breathe. Good morning loves 🌹 my garden is really starting to feel like a space of tranquility. I love it! Am sat with my coffee on my deck soaking in the sounds of the bees and birds, waiting for the sun to come around the corner.

It is baby ladybird season. I just found a minute one on my chair and safely transported it to a plant they like. So cute 🥰 if you go out to harvest mugwort after the summer Solstice, check for them before bringing it home because they absolutely love mugwort!

The sun is catching the spider tightropes that they cast between the plants, they shimmer and move gently. So beautiful.

A pollen drunk bee just bumbled into my hair. D***y and slow, heavy with pollen 😄

Don't you just love the way you have to hunt under the leaves for hidden raspberries! Well... Half raspberries in my case because the blackbirds, goldfinches and bluetits eat the other halves 🤦🏽‍♀️😅😅🙏🏽💜

Today will be a clean my house and packing day, in-between being in the garden. Tomorrow afternoon I head up to Birmingham airport ready to fly out to Malta for my Summer Solstice Maltese Temple Quest Retreat at an ungodly hour on Tuesday morning 🫣😅

Yesterday I delivered 2 sound and gong journeys to 2 lovely groups. Such a blessing. 🙏🏽

Ooh, a mouse just casually sauntered across the garden to under my decking! 🥰 It's having a lovely time! I left it some raspberries under the raspberry bushes and it just hopped and skipped over there for breakfast 🥳 Nom, nom, nom. It must think it's its birthday 🎂

I am a fully insured, fully qualified sound and shamanic practitioner with 16+ years of working with sound. I started my journey in sound with a 2 year intensive training with the British Academy of Sound Healing and did further intensive courses in Spain with the accomplished Michele Averad and Nestor Kornblum and with Mike Tamburo in advanced gong techniques. I am a lifelong healer and vocal channel and have 20+ years of experience in holding safe spaces in many modalities.

One week today and I will be floating in the sea in 30°C+ heat on my way from the airport to our accommodation ready to prep for my Summer Solstice Maltese Temple Quest Retreat 17-22 June.

It feels surreal. It has crept up then zoomed up! I have been busy making a gift for my ladies, sorting my greenhouse plants out with a hopefully effective irrigation system, sorting out nitty gritty stuff for the retreat. I am really looking forward to it.

Ah, what a beautiful, gentle day I have had today. An impromptu 1:1 medicine drum birthing retreat day for Dew Drops, Sarah. Partly under canvas,we were outside all day with the rain only starting exactly when we finished. Such a blessing 🙏🏽

Sarah birthed a beautiful deer medicine drum with a willow hoop. And bought our lunch with her, an amazing homemade nettle and pea soup, bread, cheese, Turkish delight. So grateful. Thank you lovely 🌹🙏🏽
