After coming very close to sharing the points against Scunthorpe XL FC we unfortunately conceded in the last couple of minutes and lost 3-2.

Everyone who wore the green shirt can come off that pitch with their heads held high after putting in a massive shift.

First game of the season today in the Yorkshire XL11s League not the result we wanted or hoped for, however, a lot of positives to take from the game…
The work rate from every single man was first class from starters to the subs that came on.
We played some really good football at times throughout the pitch, and with a little more care with our final pass we could/would have created a few more chances.
On that note we created 4 or 5 good chances and on another day we may have get a goal or two…

We build on today, we learn, we encourage and we go again next match.
