What a great day supporting A Rother Nice Festival in the very first Rother Nice Football Match..
We had plenty of players and supporters give up their Sunday afternoon to come and support this amazing cause and raise money for The Rotherham Hospice.

The follow up to this match is the festival itself on Saturday 27th June - Cutlers Arms, Westgate from 12:30pm.

Why not come down and see some great local bands and have a good afternoon…

‼️an amazing £500+ was raised today ‼️
A sensational effort from everyone involved

Fit4U Rotherham 9-1 Lincoln B

A very good result from the lads at the weekend.
From the start we were on top through our hard work and good passing football.

7-0 at half time, and the game ending 9-1.
Slightly disappointed to concede in second half, but the game was won and secure.

Goals from
Joe Hardaker x4
Lee Day x2
Kez Couldwell x2
Mick Richens

Man of the Match: Robert Thomas Bull
- might seem strange to award the goalkeeper MoM after a convincing win, but he made 4/5 top quality saves in second half which stopped the opposition getting back into the game.

Our final league game is this weekend against Harrogate MvF

Not the result we wanted today, but a really hard working, organised performance from the lad today.
Under the cosh early on the management team made a tactical change and we soon found ourselves 1-0 up through a Kez Couldwell corner finding Dave Smith with a bullet header past the keeper.
Leeds then took advantage of some sloppy passing and before we knew it, we were 2-1 down…
Another corner and this time the gaffer, Dean Buffam, acrobatically scored the equaliser… (I’m sure he will share the footage once available 😂)

Halftime - 2-2

Second half was much of the same, superb defensively from us but just struggled to create that clear cut chance…
Leeds took the lead 3-2….
A late flurry from us saw us nearly equalise on a number of occasions, but with us pushing, Leeds caught us on the break and with the last touch of the game scored to make it 4-2.

Result aside the management team could not be prouder of the lads today, a very hard working performance and unlucky not to come away with something.

Goals: Dave Smith Dean Buffam
Mom: Dave Smith, but social mentioned to Taylor Wright and Mick Richens who were excellent today.
