❀ Bring a sugary drink (I’ve got backup snacks).
❀ Dress comfy — piercings aren’t comfy, so you should be.
❀ Wait 6 months before swimming if you can.
❀ Can’t wait? Keep it dry for at least 8–12 weeks.
❀ Bring bottled water to rinse off dirt & clean with saline after showering.
❀ Keep wet hair away!
❀ Flights + heat = swelling — bring spare swelling bars if healed.
❀ Tell me if you’re getting pierced before a trip — I’ll help you plan.
❀ Use suncream AROUND (not on) your piercing.
❀ Booze thins blood → more swelling & bleeding.
❀ Skip the piercing if you’re heavily drinking before or after.
