We did three sessions in total 🙂 Significantly fading this tattoo meant that although the customers cover up would be pretty dark anyway, he could have a more detailed piece without anything showing through. A few sessions of laser really does make all the difference in your cover up options 🤟🏼

The first picture is actually after one session as we can’t seem to find any before starting treatment. The outline was similar to the geometric triangles so after seeing the results from just one session I knew this was gonna be a good one 😎⚡️

Patience and perseverance pays off 💪🏼

Some people will look at this one and say surely you could have covered it without laser? Sure you could, but not without either still seeing the tattoo through it or placing something much much darker and bulky on top. Which wasn’t what the customer wanted. Why pay for a cover up if you can’t get what you really want or what you’re trying to get rid of is still visible? Although this tattoo was a little more stubborn in areas, the persistence with laser treatment has allowed the customer to get the tattoo he really wanted without risk! And I think it looks bloody brilliant!!

The outline has come out a treat already but I also wanted to use this picture to showcase where some of the colours have gone “darker” and explain why this happens.

Simply put, your tattoo has become darker because the components in the ink have become oxidized, (In some pigments and inks popularly used in tattoos, some of these components are actually metals) leading to a temporary greying or darkening until the tattoo fades. Thankfully, this proves that your treatments are working according to plan, and its just a matter of time and patience until the area lightens 😎
