Two busy days, countless conversations, and a brilliant atmosphere throughout, CHEMUK 2026 has been a great event for the EWFM team.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit us on Stand J10. From long-standing industry connections to first-time visitors discovering EWFM for the first time, it was a pleasure speaking with so many people across the two days.

Events like these are always a fantastic opportunity to share ideas, discuss industry challenges, and showcase the solutions and services we provide across fluid transfer and safety access applications.

And finally, congratulations to Jane Bradley, our only successful “Crack the Code” winner on day two, who walked away with a bottle of champagne! 🍾

We appreciate everyone who stopped by and helped make this year’s such an enjoyable and successful event for the whole team.

5 Key Considerations When Selecting Chemical Loading Arms

Chemical loading and unloading is a standard part of operations in many chemical facilities, but it’s also one of the most critical stages when it comes to safety, reliability and environmental control.

From product compatibility through to operating conditions and ongoing maintenance, there are a number of factors that can have a significant impact on how a loading arm performs in real-world applications, and they’re not always immediately obvious at the specification stage.

We’ve put together a short article exploring some of the key things to think about when selecting chemical loading arms.

We’ll also be at ChemUK next week on Stand J10, if you’d like to talk through any specific loading or unloading requirements.

Learn 5 key considerations when selecting chemical loading arms, covering safety, compatibility, and more for industrial applications.

Internal Floating Roofs and the Energy Transition

The energy sector is shifting, and storage infrastructure is having to keep pace.

As biofuels, SAF, and blended products become more common, operators are rethinking how existing tank systems perform under new operating conditions, from emissions expectations through to product behaviour and compatibility.

Internal Floating Roof systems are increasingly part of that conversation, particularly when it comes to improving performance in existing assets rather than building new capacity. We’ve explored what this means for IFR design, retrofits, and evolving storage requirements.

How Internal Floating Roofs help reduce emissions and losses while adapting tank storage for biofuels, SAF, and modern fuel blends.
