🌿 It’s World Reflexology Week! 🌿
So, as a reflexologist here in Runcorn, I couldn't really let this week go by without talking about the treatment I love most. ❤️
One of the things I hear surprisingly often from new clients is:
“I’ve always fancied trying reflexology, but I don’t really know what it is!”
And honestly, that's absolutely fine!
Reflexology is a deeply relaxing complementary therapy where gentle pressure is applied to specific reflex points on the feet, but it can also be done on the hands, the face and the ears.
But for me, a reflexology treatment is also 50–60 minutes where you don't have to do anything for anybody else.
You take your shoes and socks off (if that's where we're doing the reflexology!), get comfortable on my heated couch, and that's it. No need to make conversation. No need to be productive. You can chat, snooze, close your eyes or simply enjoy the peace.
I absolutely love introducing somebody to reflexology for the first time — especially when they sit up afterwards looking slightly dazed and say, “I didn't realise how relaxing that would be!”
And a little bit about me…
I’m a fully qualified reflexologist and currently the only reflexologist in Runcorn listed with the Association of Reflexologists (AoR). I’ve been practising for twelve years, and reflexology really is at the heart of what I do.
I work from my peaceful garden treatment room here in Runcorn, offering traditional foot reflexology as well as Reflexology Lymph Drainage, Hot Stones Reflexology, Ayurvedic Reflexology and Facial Reflexology.
So if you've been one of those people who's thought:
“I'd quite like to try reflexology one day…”
Perhaps World Reflexology Week is your sign.
