Hello everyone! I'm Laura and I've recently joined the team here at Skills Up CIC.

I'll be looking after all things social media, helping to keep you updated with the latest news, exciting updates and what we've been up to.📱 ✨

We were lucky enough to receive funding linked to the Digital Inclusion Initiative and the tablets and laptops we bought are in daily use - as you can see in the picture! Today, we took part in the Liverpool City Region's DII Network meeting. It is always informative and gives great support on improving digital knowledge and skills in the community. We'll definitely be looking into some of the offers from Virgin Media O2 and Barclays UK.

A massive thank you to the Co-op and members for our donation of £1426.70 from their Local Community Fund. We began sports sessions in the summer as part of our active well-being activities and plan to continue these in the coming months. We were excited to be invited to the VIP Tour of the new Grangeway Co-op store. The store looks fantastic and will be well used by the community. Well done and congratulations to Taylor and her team!!! It was great to meet up with Stuart, our Member Activator, and share some photos of activities funded by our Co-op Local Community Fund donation. Adam even got to do some VIP shopping! We had a great time celebrating a client's birthday. We planned some fun party games with prizes, made a personalised card, had a delicious lunch and shared why the person was so special whilst having some birthday cake. Celebrating together is one of our highlights

Amanda and Vickie spent today at Halton Chamber's Festive Tuesday. It was great to be able to promote Skills Up and network with other local social enterprises and businesses. Thanks to everyone at Halton Chamber for all they do and for the very lovely festive lunch!
