Halton Carers Centre, in partnership with Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust , is hosting "Strengthening family relationship skills for carers."

When: Thursday 2nd July, 9th July, and 16th July
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm (2 hours per session)
Where: Halton Carers Centre, St Marie's Church, Lugsdale Road, Halton, WA8 6DB
🤔 What will the course cover?
Caring for someone with mental health needs is incredibly rewarding, but it can also be exhausting and isolating. This training is designed to help you understand, strengthen, and develop relationships to support you in your caring role.
Week 1: Combined validation/invalidation, understanding emotions, and positive communication skills.
Week 2: Managing stressful situations and effective problem-solving.
Week 3: Positive relationships and personal wellbeing.
