Following on from last week’s post about when to laser vs when to colour correct, here’s a perfect example of why laser can be the BEST option for old permanent makeup 👏🏼

These brows had unwanted old pigment that had faded unevenly over time. Instead of trying to work over the top, we chose laser removal to safely break down the old ink and begin creating a clean foundation 💫

💥 What does laser brow removal do?
Laser works by targeting the old pigment beneath the skin and breaking it into tiny particles, which the body then naturally removes over time.

If you’ve had previous semi-permanent makeup that you’re no longer happy with—whether it’s the shape, colour, or how it’s faded over time—laser removal could be the solution for you.

So how does it work? 💭
Laser removal uses targeted light energy that penetrates the skin and breaks down the pigment particles within your brows. These particles are then naturally processed and removed by your body over time. With each session, the pigment becomes lighter and softer, allowing us to gradually fade or fully remove unwanted PMU safely and effectively.

For this transformation, we used our powder brow technique—a soft shading method designed to create a pixelated, airbrushed finish. Unlike traditional microblading, which mimics individual hair strokes, powder brows build up gentle layers of pigment to give a fuller, more defined look without harsh lines.
