CRYSTAL MYTH vs REALITY 🔮

Myth: there is one ‘correct’ crystal you’re supposed to choose.

Reality: crystal traditions give stones different symbolic associations, but you’re still allowed to simply like one.

You can choose Tiger’s Eye because you connect with its traditional confidence/courage symbolism.

You can also choose it because the bands are gorgeous and it looks cracking on your wrist 😂

Meaning can add to the experience. It doesn’t need to turn shopping for a crystal into an exam.

Thank you to everyone who stopped, chatted, browsed, bought something or simply told me which crystal had caught their eye.

I always come home from markets with slightly less stock and about seventeen new ideas 😂

Not a dramatic reinvention. Not twelve new habits by breakfast.

Just choosing what deserves your energy and letting the rest wait its turn.

Smoky Quartz is going to pop up a little this month because, in crystal traditions, it’s associated with grounding and release. For me, that makes it a lovely physical reminder to come back to what’s actually in front of me.

Today’s challenge is apparently deciding how much stock is ‘enough’ when my natural answer is ALL OF IT 😂

The boxes are filling with crystals, handmade jewellery, Pocket Guardians and the little AZD bits that are very easy to accidentally adopt.

Market prep is in full swing 🔮✨

You may have seen that i will be attending Bathgates Night Market on 2 September 4pm - 8pm.....AANNNND ill be back in The Howgate Shopping Centre Falkirk next Saturday....

So the boxes are coming out, the making table is filling up and I'm beginning the game of:

“How much stock can one woman reasonably take to a market?”

Answer: apparently all of it 😂

I'll be bringing crystals, handmade pieces, little guardians and plenty of AZD favourites.

I'm also making and preparing more throughout this week, so I'll give you some peeks behind the scenes.

Release before rebuilding.

Rest before forcing answers.

What are you ready to stop carrying?

Write it down.

Sit with it.

Take a breath.

And resist the urge to immediately work out your entire next chapter.

✨ Take one slow breath when you're finished

That's it.

Today I'm reaching for Fluorite.

In crystal traditions, Fluorite is associated with clarity, concentration, focus and creating a little order amongst the mental noise.

For me, sometimes their value is much simpler.

You pick one up and it becomes a tiny physical reminder:

Slow down.
Choose one thing.
Come back to yourself.

And sometimes that's exactly enough.
