This week is Dementia Awareness Week- a time to raise awareness, encourage understanding and remind those affected by dementia that they are not alone.
Living with dementia or supporting someone who is, can bring a wide range of emotions: grief, confusion, exhaustion, fear, frustration and love - and often all these at once.
It can affect the whole family, not just the individual with the diagnosis.
At Choose Wellness we understand the emotional impact that dementia can have on individuals, carers, partners and loved ones. Having a safe, compassionate space to talk can make a real difference during difficult and uncertain times.
Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis, caring for a loved one or coping with changes in family relationships, support is available.
You do not have to carry it all on your own 💙.
This week we encourage kindness, patience, conversation and connection. Even small moments of understanding can mean so much.
