⭐️We’re looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our team!⭐️

If you’re caring, confident and ready for a role where no two days are the same we’d love to hear from you.

From planning fun days out (including the odd circus trip or trampoline park!) to supporting individuals to try new things, take positive risks, and make the most of every day. You’ll play an integral part in helping create these experiences.

You will work closely with the management team to help ensure the safe and smooth running of the home through delegated tasks, medication administration, record keeping and supporting the wider team.

Experience in a Senior role is preferred, but we are happy to hear from experienced Support Workers who are looking to take the next step!

On Wednesday, we had another visit from Really Awesome Coffee Isle of Wight who have been coming once a month following some feedback in a service users meeting that they would like this to continue following the first visit going down a treat!

Here you can see a few of our service users here very pleased with their orders! Thank you again to Really awesome coffee for continuing to come down, it brings smiles to faces each time!

🎉 Forty years of Ryde House Group!
Established in 1986, today we celebrated our 40th birthday in true style with our biggest Funday yet: an 80s-themed garden party with a live band, bouncy castles, a barbecue, street food, ice creams, candyfloss and games galore.

Our annual Funday is always a highlight, but this one was extra special, with staff, families and the people we support all celebrating together.

A huge thank you to our amazing staff, whose hard work makes everything we do possible, and to the people we support and their families for joining in and making the day one to remember.

Here’s to the next 40 years! 💙

Last week, the IOW College celebrated the achievements of its Pathways Programme students with a special awards ceremony, and we’re proud to say we brought home plenty of certificates! As you can see, everyone was delighted to receive their well-earned awards. 🎉

Jonathan, who we support here at RHG, will be performing with the In Tune Upcycle Orchestra on Sunday at the Intoxicated Tea Rooms from 10:15am to 11:00am.

If you’re attending the festival, we’d love for you to stop by and show your support. We know Jonathan and the orchestra would really appreciate seeing some friendly faces in the crowd!

A couple of weeks ago we were lucky enough to be invited to the Isle of Wight care awards🤩

We are so proud to share that Luke Davis was nominated for Frontline Leader of the Year and won the award! 🏆

A huge congratulations as well to Michelle Ward, who was nominated for Registered Manager of the Year and achieved second runner up, this is a fantastic achievement in such a demanding and complex role🥳

Ryde House Group were also nominated for Team of the Year and were delighted to win the award. This recognises the commitment and teamwork shown every day.
