✨ MCA Scar Revision — helping scars look smoother, softer & less noticeable ✨
MCA (Multi-Trepannic Collagen Actuation) is a form of medical tattooing that works with the scar itself — without adding pigment.
Using a specialist tattooing technique, we carefully work over the scar tissue to create controlled micro-trauma. This encourages the skin’s natural healing response and can help stimulate collagen and elastin, improving the texture, flexibility and overall appearance of the scar.
MCA can be used on many types of fully healed scars and stretch marks, including:
🤍 Surgical scars
🤍 Breast surgery & mastectomy scars
🤍 C-section scars
🤍 Tummy tuck scars
🤍 Facelift & cosmetic surgery scars
🤍 Injury or trauma scars
🤍 Raised or uneven scars, where suitable
🤍 Tight or firm scar tissue
🤍 Scars with changes in texture
🤍 Stretch marks
MCA is particularly useful when the main concern is the texture of the scar rather than the colour.
For some clients, MCA can also help encourage natural repigmentation within a lighter scar or stretch mark. If the colour still needs improvement once the area has responded and healed, we can then look at scar camouflage tattooing to blend it further into the surrounding skin.
Every scar and stretch mark is different, so we always assess the area first to decide which treatment, or combination of treatments, will give the best possible result. 💗
