currently obsessed with these 🌮✨ made them 3 times this week already 😂

✨ black bean & sweet potato tacos ✨
ingredients:
– 1 tin black beans
– small corn tortillas
– 1 sweet potato
– fajita seasoning
– bunch of coriander
– 2 tbsp greek yoghurt
– ½ lemon (juice)
– 1 avocado
method:
cook the sweet potato (i microwave mine whole for ~12 mins until soft).
warm the black beans with fajita seasoning, then mash.
mix in the cooked sweet potato.
make the sauce by blending avocado, yoghurt, lemon juice & coriander until smooth.
add the filling to half a tortilla, fold over, then fry until golden and crisp.
so simple, so filling & honestly sooo good 🤌💚

Ever noticed how what you did at Christmas shows up in your period weeks later? 🎄👀

Your cycle has a memory.
The egg you ovulate this month actually started developing around 2–3 months ago. So stress, late nights, travel, rich food, alcohol, under-eating, over-exercising — it doesn’t just affect you in the moment. It can influence your hormones weeks down the line.
High stress raises cortisol, which can delay ovulation.
Sleep disruption throws off your circadian rhythm (and reproductive hormones).
Big diet shifts impact how you process oestrogen.
Your period is like a monthly report — but it’s detailing what was happening in your body 6–10 weeks ago.
So if your cycle feels “off” after the Christmas break or even a holiday … it makes sense. Your body is just catching up.
Hormones aren’t random. They’re responsive.

Loved talking at the Hub last night for their shifting with the seasons supper club!

I spoke all things detoxing, winter seasonal eating and how to support your body in January. It was a judgement free zone and I talked about leaning in Winter.

Such a beautiful venue and the food looked delicious, and just what your body needs, as I did help a little with the menu design.

Come and join me next week at the Hub for a delicious seasonal supper club and talk!

The menu looks so good, well, I did help in constructing it so I would say that, but it’s full of amazing seasonal nourishing and tasty food that’s good for you, so no January guilt needed here!

Before dinner I’ll spend a little time guiding you through post Christmas detox, liver supporting tips and it’s all judgement free, so just come and along and enjoy your evening in these beautiful surroundings because January can be dull, so book something fun in!

Wow, what a day!

We absolutely loved this retreat day, the women were incredible, our teachers Ali and Grace were amazing and we loved the connection, conversations and meeting with all these wonderful women.

Cucumber fields is the most beautiful venue and a big thanks to our supporters of Metagencis UK and Ancient and Brave for their amazing products.
