š Menās Mental Health Week - based on the boys in my life š¤£šļøšµāāļø
A nod to the men who keep riding, fixing, tinkering, and pushing through ā even when the warning lights have been flashing for a while.
Lately Iāve had more new male clients than female, and honestly, itās been brilliant to see. Men are finally giving themselves permission to look after their mental and physical wellbeing ā not just their bikes.
And speaking of bikesā¦
Most of the men in my life are bike mad. If itās got two wheels, an engine, or a trail to conquer, theyāre already halfway out the door.
But even the best riders know this:
You canāt ignore a dodgy noise, a stiff suspension, or a wornāout part forever.
Your body works the same way.
Now, I still havenāt convinced Georgie that reflexology is worth pausing the bike chat for ā but Matt?
Heās a convert.
Not because heās suddenly into crystals and calm music (he absolutely isnāt), but because:
⢠His knee pain eases
⢠He sleeps better
⢠He wakes up feeling less like heās done a 6āhour enduro
Thatās it. No fluff. No mystical enlightenment. Just practical results that make riding, working, and life in general feel easier.
So this week, to the men out there:
⢠Looking after yourself is not a luxury
⢠Rest is not weakness
⢠Support is not something you have to āearnā by struggling first
Your mental health matters. Your body matters. And you deserve the same care you give your bikes, your families, and everyone else around you.
If youāve been thinking about trying reflexology ā for pain, stress, sleep, or just to feel more balanced ā this is your sign.
