Today we were back at Friday group talking about:
🟣Baby’s reaction to being in the car.
🟠Toddler pushing the boundaries and how to navigate it.
🟣How people are relying on AI for therapy.
🟠The difficulties of parenting whilst pregnant.
🟣When to take your toddler to the dentist.

With a free, non judgemental space, parents are able to discuss all these things with each other and realise that they’re not alone.

❄️ Introducing Wonderland Winter Warm 💙
This winter, no child should have to choose between being warm and feeling confident.

At Wonderland Community Centre, we're incredibly proud to launch Wonderland Winter Warm – a brand-new community initiative dedicated to helping local children stay warm throughout the colder months.

We know that winter can be an incredibly difficult time for many families. With the rising cost of living, many parents are facing impossible choices, and sadly, some children go without the warm clothing they need.

We believe that every child deserves to walk to school wrapped up warm, feeling comfortable, confident and ready to learn.

That's where Wonderland Winter Warm comes in.

We're asking our wonderful community if they can help us by donating good quality, clean winter clothing for children and young people of all ages.
We are looking for donations of:

🧥 Winter Coats
🧤 Hats
🧣 Scarves
🧤 Gloves
🥾 Waterproof Boots
👢 Warm Shoes & Boots
🧦 New Socks
🧥 Fleeces & Hoodies
🧸 Warm Blankets (for families in need)

Every donation will stay within our local community and be given to children and families who need a helping hand this winter.

A coat that no longer fits your child could become the reason another child feels warm, comfortable and able to enjoy school, play outside or simply walk home without feeling the cold.

This project is about far more than clothing.
It's about protecting children, supporting families and showing that our community cares for one another.

If you have children's winter clothing tucked away in a wardrobe that is no longer needed, please consider donating it to Wonderland Community Centre.

We would also love to hear from:

💙 Local businesses who may wish to sponsor the project.
💙 Schools who would like to work alongside us.
💙 Community groups who can help us reach families in need.
💙 Volunteers who would like to help sort, organise and distribute donations.

Together, we can make sure no child in our community goes without the warmth they deserve this winter.
