Trim with Kim I am a qualified personal trainer and teach fitness classes in the St Helens area I am a Qualified Personal Trainer and Fitness instructor based in St Helens.

I offer one to one personal training sessions in my fitness studio to people of all fitness ability. I have also been teaching at local fitness clubs for many years, I teach group exercise classes including spin, pump, tone and HIIT training. I offer a 2 day detox followed by a 21 day nutrition plan which is based on low and high carb days. Hi 👋

Thank you for your interest in my monthly Spin Events! 🚴‍♀️

The events will be held at Ruskin Drive Sports Village, with dates listed on my Gymcatch App. The first event is scheduled for:

📅 Sunday 28th June
🕥 10:15am
⏰ 60-minute session

Spaces are limited, as there are only 10 bikes available, so booking early is recommended.

The bikes are fantastic and feature built-in consoles that provide live performance data throughout your ride, helping you track your effort and progress.

To make these events viable, the cost will be £10 per session.

If demand is high, I will look at adding more dates in the future.

Booking

My preference is for everyone to book through the Gymcatch App. The initial setup takes a few minutes as you’ll need to enter your payment details, but after that, booking future sessions is quick and easy.

If you’d prefer not to use the app, please let me know and I can manually add you using your email address. In this case, payment will need to be made via bank transfer to secure your place.

I’ll send a separate message shortly with instructions on how to book.

✨ Hi, I’m Kim – Welcome to Trim with Kim! ✨

For those who are new here, I thought I’d introduce myself.

I’m Kim, a fitness instructor, sports therapist, massage therapist and wellness coach with a passion for helping women feel stronger, healthier and more confident at every stage of life.

As women move through their 40s, 50s and beyond, our bodies naturally change. Hormonal shifts during peri-menopause, menopause and post-menopause can affect muscle mass, metabolism, bone density, energy levels and body composition.

This is why I’m so passionate about combining:

🧘‍♀️ Pilates
❤️ Wellness & Recovery

Why are weights so important during menopause?

From around the age of 30, we naturally begin to lose muscle mass. This process can accelerate during menopause due to declining oestrogen levels.

Regular strength training can help:

✔ Increase strength and confidence
✔ Improve posture and balance

With the recent refurbishment at Everlast Fitness Club and the change to freelance instructors, I’m excited to share that I’ve added daytime classes to my timetable 🙌

I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone for your support and generous donations in raising money for St Joseph’s Hospice, in honour of the wonderful care they gave my cousin Denise , who sadly passed away at the age of 60.

I am overwhelmed and pleased to say we raised £2728 ( including a kind £1000 donation from Barclays, thank you )

It was a truly memorable and fun morning. A special thank you to my amazing daughter, Elise, for helping me — we loved every minute! 🚴🔥❤️
