☔️🧐🤗 What a day! 🤗🧐☔️

Thank you to the lovely customers who braved the weather today and visited our Gift shop.

Taking this time really put a smile on a young persons face. Serving independently, dealing with the stock, card machine and customer service was an achievement he was very proud of.

If you haven’t visited yet and want to support young people and local crafters in St Neots, pop in.

**We are seeing smiles**

The Overloaded Alternative Provision is not the easy option. It is difficult, we thrive for progression and progression we see.

Recently, we are catching wonderful smiles from our young people, an inner feeling of proudness and achievement-

There is no achievement too small or big:

🤗 serving customers unsupported in the shop
🤗 completing their assessments
🤗 passing their assessments
🤗 Sharing their final projects
🤗 travelling independently
🤗 cooking for themselves at home
🤗 exploring new social situations
🤗 using their voice and being heard
🤗 exploring new subjects
🤗 transitioning into new environments

These are just a few from this week. We are not here to ‘fix’ or ‘push’ young people. We provide 3 frameworks that allow them opportunity, tools to discover themselves and find their own motivation.

We are proud to be supporting Shuttleworth College. The college, part of the Bedford college group reached out to ask for work placements.

We are really impressed with the work ethic and engagement in our outdoor provision.

🏋️‍♂️🔥 Thank you Fitness Forge Gym🏋️‍♂️🔥

This week we received a donation from the Fitness Forge. They held an open day and had a weightlifting competition.

The people attending and contributors, you have donated to our wonderful young people- thank you.

It is really important for us to support local business who understand and promote positive mental health. The Fitness Forge is one of them.

🌞🤗 The Overloaded Gift Shop🌞😝

We have zoomed into our fifth year of business and sales are booming.
The community want to support local artists and our young people!

Thank you all! Visits and sales, support our young people in their qualifications, life skills but more importantly their mental health and confidence.

Have you seen our new displays? Father’s Day stock and some rathe ‘dad jokes’ on the shop window??

The sales for recent month is going towards a well earned Prom for our young people.

Pop Into 1 Fishers Yard just right of the market square to contribute to our not for profit organisation.

Weekdays 9.30am- 2.30pm
Saturdays 10am-2pm

🧠🔥🧐Last Half Term 🧠🔥🧐

Where has the year gone??
How is it the last half term of the year?

We are looking forward to the next half term, the last push before the summer break and next steps.

The Learning SENtre has celebrations planned- we want to recognise the excellent achievements of this year. The prom plans are in full swing, the young people have proven their amazing organisational and event planning skills. Dress to impress, here we come!!

The gift shop will remain open all summer Thurs to Saturdays- sales have excelled in recent months. The young people are extremely proud and working well with our supportive artists.

Plans for September are well underway- we are always on the lookout for exceptional team players who share a passion for supporting young people.

We’re giving you more! From the 1st of June we’ll now be open every day 3am-11pm, giving you more time to make use of our brand new facilities!

We’ve got more equipment on order, due in any week now. We’ve added more classes the last month. And we’re still looking at how to give you more!

From this, new memberships will be increasing only by an extra £2 for each level and day passes will now be £8. Again, this is for NEW memberships only - all existing will stay the same.
