Amazing news … due to the progress made by clients over in Timperley*, I now have a couple of fortnightly* spaces opened up on:
🌱 Wednesdays at 7pm
🌱 Wednesdays at 8pm

I had 5 mins to myself this morning to soak up the sun … slowed the pace, enjoyed the smells of Spring, the songs of the birds, the crisp breeze, and the morning light creeping in to chase away the shadows … deep inhale, heavy long exhale … ahhhhh … and now ready for a long day of school and private clients. 😊

It’s beautiful out there … soak it up even if you only have a minute ☀️

In this space between us,
where nothing can be touched
and yet so much is held,
there is a living current,
an energy passing
back and forth, back and forth,
swift as thought,
so swift at times
neither of us can name it,
only feel
its pull.

Oh, how we feel it.

Sometimes we meet there
like wrestlers in the dark,
sometimes tumbling through grief,
others diving after truth.
Sometimes you grow small,
retreating to corners,
running, hiding,
afraid of what waits
in the open,

Still, the space remains.

Endless and wide,
never empty though,
no, never that.
And not full,
yet somehow brimming
all the same.

It gathers whispers:
fears, worries, old frights.
It carries sparks:
wonder, joy, delight.
It shelters the fragile shape
of possibility …

those tender things
that can only, for now,
be dreamed,
spoken,
left unspoken,
seen,
left unseen.

And all of it,
every silence, every tremor, every hope,
is felt
in this space between us.

My therapy room at the end of last night’s client work 🥰 … because not every therapy session is neat, quiet, or perfectly put together.

Often it looks like pens without lids, paper everywhere, cushions moved, feelings spilled out, and a room left a little messy after meaningful work. 🎨

Counselling doesn’t have to happen one way! It doesn’t have to be sitting still, saying the “right” words, or knowing exactly where to begin.

For many of my clients, healing happens through creativity … through movement … through laughter … through tears … mainly through connection and through ‘making a mess’ while making sense of things. 🌀

Whether you present the polished parts of you, the uncertain parts, the overwhelmed parts, or the parts that feel like chaos … all is ok … all of you is welcome here. 💛

Because sometimes growth isn’t tidy … sometimes letting got of control is part of the work … and sometimes mess is where something honest begins. 🪴

Not as a fresh start.
Not as a promise that everything will feel better.

Just … another day.

If you’re tired, if things still feel heavy, if nothing has magically shifted overnight … that makes sense.

And still, you’re here.
You made it through yesterday.

Sometimes that’s all there is.
And sometimes, that’s enough. 🌤️
