I know people are finding it increasingly hard to buy food for themselves and their families due to prices skyrocketing. The lovely people at Thermomix have produced two new menus to help reduce the cost of providing nutritious and delicious meals on a budget.

5-weekday meals for 4 people for under £15 or under £20.

If you'd like the recipes, they're easily adaptable if you don't have a Thermomix.

Are you finding it difficult to get enough fluids in now it's a little bit colder ? We're heading into the most difficult time of year to stay hydrated. Heating will go on (eventually) and we're less inclined to drink plain cool water. So how about a lemon and ginger tea. Squeeze a tablespoon of lemon juice into a mug, add a few slices of root ginger and a slice of lemon to taste. Pour hot water into the mug and allow to steep for a couple of minutes. Add some honey for sweetness if desired. A soothing, warm, light drink to keep you pepped up during the day. No need to buy expensive packets of this stuff in bags. It's so simple to make and you control the sugar content ! Give it a try and let me know what you think.

People often ask me why I became a Thermomix advisor. Well, apart from the fact that it's a lot of fun and I have an amazing multi-purpose machine in my kitchen, I love it because I get out and about and meet wonderful new people. It has also made me a better cook, and has taken over the tasks I hate doing (mainly prepping veg 😉. It also saves me a lot of time and money plus I know exactly what's in my food. I've added the prep times to the cost-saving graphic so you can see just how quick it is !

Did you know that people who work without a break are up to 70% less productive than people who regularly get up from their desks for example to go to the coffee machine, or eat their lunch outdoors. Your brain simply has a battery that needs to be recharged every now and then to function better. So take a break for yourself more often. 🧡
