Did you know you can borrow a blood pressure monitor for free at Salisbury Library?

Has your GP mentioned monitoring your blood pressure and you didn't want to buy a monitor just for a week? Well, the answer is at Salisbury Library.

The blood pressure monitor comes in an easy to transport bag with all the kit needed and very easy to follow instructions.

High blood pressure affects one in four adults so using a blood pressure monitor can help track your heart health and possibly indicate health issues and help you raise concerns with a health care professional.

Yesterday, we spent a really lovely afternoon in the Hub with elderly patients from Salisbury Medical Practice.

Chats, coffee, sausage rolls, cakes and some lovely interactions between our elderly and young 🥰.

Our visitors helped us to come up with a new activity for the children for next time, as well as getting stuck in preparing some resources, and organising our clothing baskets! 💗

This work is so important in bringing people together, making connections, and helping to ensure that no one ever feels lonely.

Our ‘Generations Together’ sessions take place on Thursdays. They are quieter than other days as we limit numbers, but they are still incredibly impactful for those involved. Great for children who are a little more shy and prefer a quieter setting to play in.
