Remembering David Bright from Bright Seeds today on his Memorial Day.

He was such a special man. Funny, interesting, and he tried so so hard with his Pilates!

We have bright seeds wildflower mix in our garden, an appropriate memorial to remember him by.

Many apologies that I was not able to attend the service today- sadly my car has needed the RAC and will need a tow to my garage in Poole!

I swapped my arm springs for a drill today, and put up the hooks for the springs and straps for the reformers!

I also put up some wrought iron trough planters outside the studio, with a little less success I must add!! A few screw holes in the wrong place (well I did do it in the dark!!) 😵‍💫

I’m really enjoying making the studio more homely, I just have signs to put up and privacy screening for the windows now that we are sharing the car park.

I swapped my arm workout for a workout with a drill yesterday…..

I put up hooks for the reformer springs, and I also commenced putting up the planters under the windows outside with mixed success (a couple of screw holes in the wrong place! 🤦🏽‍♀️) I won’t be planting them up until June, as we are closed next week for May half term.

Next to do is to put the signs up- but this requires getting some wooden stobs and getting nice looking screw covers for the door sign.

It’s all coming together and I love the way it just makes inspired HQ look more homely! 💜

Yes I know my artwork is exceptional!!!

The car park has been gravelled at the Studio, with the hotel using half of it. Therefore, i kindly ask that when you visit us that you park carefully and within the parking denoted on my photo. Signage will go up in the next few weeks or so.

I will be putting up some planters under the windows to make up for the loss of food for the bees! 🐝

You’ll see changes happening- signage and external painting of the guttering, windows and door. We are embracing the change as an exciting opportunity as the Teffont House hotel project moves towards completion!

Playing around with mat class lesson planning tonight!

There is a loads to do with a foam block!

Quality of movement and alignment are important- my classes are full with help and advice … not just a teacher stood at the front doing a work out!!

The studio car park is having a make over!

I’m hoping it won’t take too long, but it will make the space more usable for parking as changes happen at the hotel.

If you come to the studio, please just be mindful of any barriers and ensure you check WhatsApp messages before your class from me. 💜
