📢 Meet Andi, Our New Virtual Receptionist!
From 1st September, Sandwich Medical Practice will be introducing Andi, our new Virtual Receptionist, to help improve how we manage patient requests and telephone calls.
Many of you will already be familiar with Anima, which has been a great success in helping us provide accessible care for our patients.
Andi has been created by the same team behind Anima and is designed to make contacting the practice by telephone easier and more accessible. 📞
Instead of waiting in a long telephone queue, you’ll be able to speak to Andi, who will collect some information about your request and pass it to the most appropriate member of our team.
Andi is a data collection tool 🔒
Any information you provide to Andi is used only by Sandwich Medical Practice to help us manage your request and is not shared.
Your request will still be reviewed and managed by our practice team.👩⚕️
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more information about how Andi works and what you can expect when you call us.

Andi has a natural-sounding voice and will guide you through the process.
Most importantly, Andi does not replace our reception team, clinicians or the care we provide. Andi simply helps us collect and direct your request. The appropriate member of our practice team will still review and manage it.
