My apologies to anyone hoping to catch me in my workshop today, I took a bad seizure last night and spent the night with a dodgy stomach so I will need today to recover. My hope is I’ll be in tomorrow 🧙‍♀️🌿

Uh-oh! I’ve ran out of wool!! I guess I need to stop putting off the cleaning, carding and spinning of all the fleeces I’ve built up! Also when I had all this wool balled up I thought it was all Hebridean from my in-laws sheep…turns out I was wrong about the black balls (I had in fact used up the last of the black Hebridean lambs wool on Mr TKW’s slippers!) this is actually blue Texel wool! So I’ve got a layer of Hebridean and a layer of blue Texel! Now do I finish it in Hebridean or totally mix it up with some of my own girls Shetland wool?? 🧙‍♀️🌿

Hey guys! The workshop is going to be closed today (Friday 5th) due to an appointment but I’ll be back open tomorrow! All website orders have been filled this morning though and will be shipping out today 🧙‍♀️🌿

Discovered these eyelet ribbons that sure beat sewing individual eyelets for a corset back! I love everything about this dress…it was advertised as a size 12 but it’s more like a size 10 (French connection what is going on with your sizes??!!) now I’ve lost a load of weight the zip finally does up but it’s still a bit tight so I decided instead of removing the zip I’d keep it just in case for the future and sew in a corset style back…I can now wear this dress comfortably and that makes me happy! 🧙‍♀️🌿

One of my special finds today was this absolutely gorgeous Himalayan blue poppy. I had a really vivid dream months ago with blue poppies as one of the main themes. It was such a wonderful, so real, witchy sort of dream that I woke up with this driving need to find blue poppies and plant them in my garden! As soon as I saw this across the way I knew even without reading the label or seeing the flower properly that I’d finally found what I’ve been looking for! Funny how things work out…now the significance outside of my dream has yet to reveal itself but for now this gorgeous specimen is mirroring the joy it gave me in my dream 🧙‍♀️🌿
