On the equinox we honor the balance and interaction of the light and the dark, and we may feel gratitude for the changes that come with the passing of time.

As we consciously link our awareness to the cycles of nature, our understanding of our own cycles begin to deepen.

Spiritually speaking, fall represents the harvest time of year, a time to acknowledge growth and expansion as a natural evolution of our organic being. Our lives go through cycles of growth, harvest, death, and rebirth just as we see in nature.

On the Fall Equinox you may want to honor all that you have in your life and shift your consciousness from one of lack to one of prosperity and gratitude in some way through a small ritual or ceremony. Such as lighting a candle, giving thanks, and speaking your gratitude for all that you are and all that you have.

Fall is the time of year that we set up our internal space and make room for what’s to come in the next year 🙏🏼🍁🙏🏼

This morning on the way back from my swim in the glorious sunshine I scrumped some wild apples..fitting for this day 🙏🏼..sharp eaters..

This evening at 6 we are coming together to share some Qigong/Mindful Movement at the shelter below the Esplanade putting green by the clock tower.. all welcome.. a perfect space for setting our intentions 🙏🏼🍂.. Xx

Last month a friend and I spend a night camping at this magical place... total bliss ❤️..

I have spontaneously decided to offer some Qigong/Mindful Movement sessions for the next 2 weeks as a trial. They will take place in the large shelter overlooking the South Bay Scarborough, tucked below the putting green by the clock tower on the Esplanade.. Hopefully the photos attached will make this clearer if you're unsure where..

The sessions will be 1 hour long and on...
Monday's ....... 6pm
Wednesday .... 11.30
Friday ............. 12.30

Price.. Pay what you can, recommend fee £10
but all welcome..
For any age or any level of experience..

Please wear warm comfortable clothes and bring a mat if possible.. This practice is best done in bare or socked feet but as it it outside and you're wanting to wear shoes opt for comfortable grounding shoes if possible..
We will sit for some of the session, there is a bench around the shelter and you may need a cushion.. you are also welcome to bring your own camp chair if preferred..or place a cushion on your mat on the floor..

I have been practicing Qigong along with my Shiatsu work for over 25 years.. However I've never offered it from a venue like this.. I'm very excited about practicing in the open air and I hope you will be up for sharing this experience with me.

Tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary of me getting the news that my middle brother was gravely ill, we lost him within the month.. This practice is a wonderful way of connecting with, rejuvenating and calming the life force within us to help us be more present in the world and with those around us.. it is an opportunity to hold a special someone, or people, in your heart as we practice..

Honouring my Irish ancestry and celebrating Embolc I've been reflecting back on the winter past and enjoying moving into the light..the first signs of growth..and a sense of anticipation at the thoughts of sharing this magical place with those that need over this coming year ❤️ Xx
