Yoga
Online!
Who would have thought!
I resisted until March 2021.... and you know what its the best thing I have ever done starting teaching again!
I love the sense of community that it brings when I hold groups
I love the joy in peoples faces and how much they enjoy and get from classes
and I love being able to share my yoga wisdom and magic and the practical nature of yoga with you all
.. and it would seem that you are enjoying it too!
:)
If you want to join us for the June block of classes then are 5 weeks this month.
There are 2 classes per week
Tuesdays 10am - 11.30am and Tuesdays 5.30pm - 7pm
and if you cant make it live then you get the rest of the week to watch the recording.
If you want to join, please message me for the link
and if you want to hear what those who have joined have had to say then here we go ...
"I love your energy, ease and how gentle and nurturing the moves are."
Michelle, Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire
“I am finding a real benefit from the pace of your class and the reminders to pause, breathe, reflect. I don’t find this easy and it frustrated me a bit at first however I am reminded that it is in the stillness that the magic happens so thank you.
I have also had some revelations from your teaching like keeping the back open. I think I have previously opened up the front of my chest at the expense of the back and am now much more aware of this.
You also manage to drop some pearls of wisdom into each class which resonates with me - this week it was the lower trapezius muscles and grief.
Am enjoying it. Its quite a challenge carving out the time but I am pleased to be managing it.”
Amanda, West Yorkshire
"Working with Rachael is always a delight. Her yoga classes offer support & encouragement no matter if you are a beginner or not. She always offers us the key to unlock the tension of our body & minds. I really enjoy the pauses she builds into a class to allow integration & reflections on every part of ourselves. You are in for a treat."
Mikaela, Shropshire
"First of all - I really enjoyed Tuesday's class. At the start I noticed that my left hip felt somehow bigger and higher up than my right. At the end, during the relaxation, I noticed that they were definitely feeling even again. It was a lovely feeling - thank you!!"
Kathryn, Oxfordshire
"Fabulous class yesterday. We both enjoyed it so much and forgot where we were for an hour and a half, so awesome! We are loving the whole sequence and you have taught us so well. Looking forward to next week."
Fran and Jim, West Yorkshire
I found Rachael and Dru Yoga eight years ago when I was pregnant with my then baby and looking for some local yoga classes to take that were suitable for pregnancy. I learned to love Dru and the slow, deliberate movements which I have always thought of as a combination of yoga and tai chi. Dru helps to centre me and brings me a great deal of calm and enjoyment which I have really needed during the past year or so! So when Rachael said she was thinking of offering online dru yoga classes, I jumped at the chance to join in. Rachael is such a joy as a yoga teacher, she has a really lovely, gentle way with her and makes the classes a real delight. Doing the yoga classes via Zoom has been more successful than I expected and I love being able to finish work, slip my feet out of my slippers and onto the yoga mat and stretch the worries of the day away. I thoroughly recommend Rachael's classes if you want to find some restorative calm, grounding or equilibrium.

“I have found it so enjoyable to feel a part of a community again, even with people I don't know as well as those I do. It isn't the same as a face to face class, but I think the fact you can see us helps focus. Also even hearing your feedback to another person helps me to think more about my posture and practice.”
Teresa, Cleckheaton
