I am really excited to be offering my first yoga workshop in Scarborough, which will take place at BeYou Studios on Barry's Lane next Sunday afternoon.

It will gentle, empowering, uplifting, inspiring and heart centred with practical, easy to use sequences that can truly change your life.

Anyone is welcome, whether you have a regular practice or have never practiced before
....and I thoroughly recomend this if you are looking to make some changes in your life

I have come to love Dru Yoga and the slow, deliberate movements which I have always thought of as a combination of yoga and tai chi. Dru helps to centre me and brings me a great deal of calm and enjoyment which I have really needed during the past year or so! Rachael is such a joy as a yoga teacher, she has a really lovely, gentle way with her and makes classes a real delight. I thoroughly recommend Rachael's classes if you want to find some restorative calm, grounding or equilibrium.

I resisted until March 2021.... and you know what its the best thing I have ever done starting teaching again!

I love the sense of community that it brings when I hold groups

I love the joy in peoples faces and how much they enjoy and get from classes

and I love being able to share my yoga wisdom and magic and the practical nature of yoga with you all
.. and it would seem that you are enjoying it too!

If you want to join us for the June block of classes then are 5 weeks this month.

There are 2 classes per week
Tuesdays 10am - 11.30am and Tuesdays 5.30pm - 7pm
and if you cant make it live then you get the rest of the week to watch the recording.

I found Rachael and Dru Yoga eight years ago when I was pregnant with my then baby and looking for some local yoga classes to take that were suitable for pregnancy. I learned to love Dru and the slow, deliberate movements which I have always thought of as a combination of yoga and tai chi. Doing the yoga classes via Zoom has been more successful than I expected and I love being able to finish work, slip my feet out of my slippers and onto the yoga mat and stretch the worries of the day away. That treat ourselves with honour kindness encouragment and regard
It seems imperative that we know what we know and that we take steps to live in alignment with that
However that looks, feels or sounds
And it is imperative that we know that our choices count
My choice to empower me and others counts
Your choice to empower yourself and others counts
Our choices to create our bodies spirts and lives as nourishing nurturing honest and empowered count
So however you may be feeling today
Make just one choice to listen to ... see ..
hear ... sense and honour you

A time of new beginings
And spring
The sun is shining
And the energy is stiring
And we are starting an 8 week block of "yoga to begin again"

We still can't be together in person... And we can be together online

Sessions are held over zoom
Dates are 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th March
13th, 20th and 27th April

There will be 2 classes each Tuesday
2pm - 3.30pm and 5.30pm - 7pm

And I will make a class available to watch for those who can not make it live. Which will I aim to make available on Tuesday night and then will take down on Sunday.

The cost is £68 for the block.

You know its already a whole year since I was last teaching yoga classes and its been really nice to take to some time off to reevaluate.
I love the freedom to explore new things and see who I am now, 9 years since I first started teaching
Dru yoga has taught me so much and I have changed my life because of it and i feel deeply grateful to have met it when I did.

Dru is about finding a still point, a place to be, when the world around us seems unstable, crazy and altogether unclear.

It is about knowing that we are the centre and that at the centre of us resides a still point that we can always access and use as our internal compass as we naviate life

Dru also creates that alignment between the physical and the spiritual that makes action so much easier

and the thing that I love most about it is that it is accessible and inclusive for all.

So if you want to join from my home to yours and access and enjoy some of that Dru magic shared by me :) then you are most welcome.

We start on 2nd March for an 8 week block and the cost is £68 and you can join from anywhere in the world

so lets make our worlds and the world a better place by injecting some magic, sparkle, love and wisdom
