‼️Broughton your Community Brew is back, and this month it’s extra special‼️

❤️ KNOW YOUR NUMBERS WEEK 2026 ❤️

“You know your age, do you know your numbers?”

This September, we’re supporting Know Your Numbers Week and encouraging everyone, whatever their age, to take a few minutes to check their blood pressure.

In North Lincolnshire, an estimated 35,000 people are living with high blood pressure, and many more may be unaware they have it because high blood pressure often has no obvious symptoms. If left unmanaged, high blood pressure can increase your risk of serious health conditions, including cardiovascular disease, stroke, heart attack, kidney disease and vascular dementia.

As part of our special Community Brew, we’ll be offering FREE BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS, carried out by our trained Blood Pressure Ambassadors.

Why not come along, enjoy a cuppa, have a chat, meet others in your community — and most importantly, know your numbers! ❤️

We’re also delighted to welcome The Mayor of North Lincolnshire, Councillor Janet Lee and the Deputy Mayor, Councillor Carol E Ross who will be holding a ward surgery for local residents, providing an opportunity to discuss concerns, raise issues and share what matters to you within the local area.

🧡Bank Holiday Weekend… a little reminder about the people behind the care.🧡

As we head into the Bank Holiday weekend, we wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to every one of our amazing carers who will be working over the weekend.

Whilst many of us might be enjoying a lie-in, spending time with family or heading out for the day, our carers will be getting up, putting on their uniform and heading out to make sure the people we support — and their families — have the care, reassurance and support they need. ❤️

Home care isn’t a Monday to Friday, 9–5 job. It’s 24/7, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Rain, shine, Bank Holidays and everything in between. 🌧️☀️

And behind every visit is a person.

A carer who takes the time to listen.
A smile that brightens someone’s day.
A familiar face that brings reassurance.
Someone who quietly makes a difference, often without ever knowing just how much it means.

We feel incredibly privileged to work alongside people who choose to care for others — not just as a job, but as something that genuinely matters. 💕

So this weekend, let’s spread a little kindness.
