💙 Carers Week 2026 💙

This Carers Week, we recognise and celebrate the incredible contribution of unpaid carers who support loved ones every day.

At Goodwin Healthcare our professional care team works closely with families to complement the care unpaid carers provide, helping to ease pressures and ensure loved ones receive the support they need. Alongside this we are proud to support carers through information, guidance, practical help, and opportunities to connect with others.

This year’s theme, “Building Carer Friendly Communities,” highlights the importance of creating places where carers feel recognised, valued, and supported. Our Community Brews provide a welcoming space to share experiences, access support, and build meaningful connections.

To all unpaid carers: thank you. Your dedication makes a lasting difference, and your contribution is truly valued.

Your care matters, and so do you. 💙

What an amazing day 🧡

I know we say this after every Community Brew, but every single month you truly fill our hearts.

Messingham and Broughton, you did not disappoint. The connections, laughter, conversations and memories made today were unbelievable.

Seeing a room where people are laughing, singing and simply having the best time is something really special. It’s a reminder of what community is all about – bringing people together, creating friendships, supporting one another and making everyone feel welcome.

Thank you to everyone who came along, shared a smile, had a chat, sang a song and helped make today so memorable. These moments are exactly why we do what we do, and why our Community Brew’s are so special 🧡

We already can’t wait for the next one! 🧡☕
