💛 FAREWELL FRIDAY 💛

Today we’re saying a very fond farewell to Leigh, our Director of Corporate Services, as he heads off to start an exciting new role!

Leigh has been part of the Amber family since 2017, working across a number of roles before becoming our Director of Corporate Services two years ago.

Over that time, Leigh has led on IT, Estates, HR and our back-office functions, and has played a huge part in supporting and delivering the growth of the group over the last 18 months. His hard work, knowledge and commitment have made a real difference, and we’re certainly going to miss having him around.

We’ll miss the laughs too… although perhaps not quite so much the terrible jokes! 😂

Leigh, thank you for everything you’ve done for Amber. We wish you every success and happiness in your new role.

Don’t be a stranger — you’ll always be welcome back for a coffee… although you’ll have to bring your own biscuits! ☕🍪

This is a fantastic achievement and reflects the hard work, commitment and dedication they continue to show in developing their knowledge and skills within social care.

We’ll be sharing more regular updates, news and stories from across Amber Adult Social Care, and we’re starting with some exciting update.

As of April this year JME Care joined the Amber Adult Social Care Group

We’ve been delighted to welcome JME Care clients and staff into the Amber family as part of a planned transition focused on continuity, stability and familiar support.

Built over many years by its founder John, JME Care shared our values and our “do with, rather than do to” approach to support.

As John enjoys his well-earned retirement, day-to-day support continues as usual, with familiar faces, relationships and routines remaining in place.

Becoming part of the wider Amber Group has also brought new opportunities to share expertise, develop services and support our fantastic staff.

We’re very pleased to welcome everyone at JME Care and look forward to the future together. 💛
