โGrace, you look so well.โ
โGrace, I donโt know how you do it.โ
โGrace, youโre always working.โ
Iโve heard these comments more times than I can count.
What Iโve never shared is the journey behind them.
This isnโt a sympathy post. In fact, this is probably the most personal thing Iโll ever share on social media. If you know me, youโll know Iโve always preferred to keep my private life private.
With many of you noticing that Iโll be reducing my hours slightly, I felt it was important to explain why.
Behind the scenes there have been hospital appointments, endless tests, flare ups, uncertainty, and a long search for answers.
Whilst building Gracious Contours and often working seven days a week, Iโve also been navigating my own health journey.
After a long period of investigations and unanswered questions, Iโve finally received a diagnosis.
Having answers has brought relief and reminded me of something I encourage my clients to do every day: listen to your body.
When my body was at its lowest, run down, and struggling with ongoing health issues, my skin reflected it too.
This journey is exactly why Iโm so passionate about lymphatic drainage.
Honestly, if it wasnโt for a tailored skin plan, lymphatic drainage, and learning how to better support my body, I donโt know where Iโd be today.
Over the next few months, Iโll be focusing on my health, adjusting to medication, and finally practising what I preach.
Before anyone panics, Gracious Contours isnโt going anywhere. Iโm still taking bookings, welcoming new clients, and Iโm just as passionate as ever about helping you achieve your goals.
The only difference is that I might finally stop working seven days a week and start working something that resembles normal business hours! ๐
Thank you to every client who has supported me, trusted me, and been part of this journey.
Gracious Contours is growing, expanding, and I have some exciting plans for the future.
Keep your eyes peeledโฆ there may even be an extra pair of helping hands joining the journey along the way. ๐
So no, this isnโt a setback.
If anything, this is just the beginning ๐ค
