A little tattoo removal progress update…

I may have been a bit quiet on social media lately, but behind the scenes the laser has been busy 😊

These are a couple of tattoos currently going through the removal process. Every tattoo responds differently depending on factors such as ink depth, age, colour, placement and individual healing.

One of the biggest misconceptions about tattoo removal is that it happens in just a few sessions. In reality, successful removal is a journey, and gradual fading is exactly what we want to see.

Life can feel heavy sometimes - busy schedules, stress, overwhelm, burnout, lack of sleep, anxiety, emotional exhaustion… and often we keep pushing through without giving ourselves chance to slow down 🤍

Small acts of self-care can make a big difference:

💚 Making time for relaxation

You do not need to earn rest

HOW LASER TATTOO REMOVAL WORKS ✨

Thinking about removing a tattoo? Here’s a friendly, simple guide to how it all works

🖊️ Step 1: The Tattoo
When your tattoo was created, the ink was placed deep into the dermis (the second layer of your skin).
These ink particles are quite large, which is why your body can’t remove them naturally.

⚡ Step 2: The Laser
A medical-grade laser gently delivers short pulses of light into the skin, carefully targeting the ink while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed.

💥 Step 3: Breaking It Down
The laser energy breaks the ink into tiny fragments, making it much easier for your body to process.

🧬 Step 4: Your Body Does the Rest
Your lymphatic system naturally flushes these particles away over the following weeks. It’s a gradual process, but your body is amazing at doing the work.

🔁 Step 5: Fading Over Time
With each session, more ink is broken down, and the tattoo will slowly fade until it’s lighter or fully removed.

A little note on body confidence & laser treatments 🦋

Laser appointments can make people feel vulnerable — being in a treatment room, talking about areas you’re not always confident with, or letting someone see parts of your body you usually keep covered.

Please know this:
You don’t need to feel “ready”, confident, or perfect to come for a treatment.

Bodies are bodies.
Skin has texture.
Hair grows.
And none of it is something you need to apologise for.

If you’re feeling nervous, we take things slowly.
If you need a pause, we pause.
If you want to stop, we stop.

My space is calm, private and judgement-free, focused on helping you feel comfortable, respected and at ease as much as achieving great results 🤍
