When people think about yoga, they often think about flexibility, balance or complicated poses.

What interests me is something different.

I want movement to help people feel more at home in themselves.

In my sessions, we're not aiming for perfect poses or comparing ourselves to anyone else. We're exploring what our bodies need, noticing how we feel and building trust in ourselves through movement.

✨ Gentle Yoga
Slow, mindful movement that develops strength, balance and confidence. We move at a pace that allows you to listen to your body rather than push past it.

✨ Mindful Movement for Neurodivergent Children
Using yoga as a therapeutic practice, these sessions support children to develop body awareness, emotional regulation, confidence and self-understanding through movement and breathing.

My hope is that people leave with more than they arrived with: a little more confidence, a little more calm and a stronger sense that they can meet whatever comes next.

This month in mindful movement, we’ll be keeping things slow and low.

These sessions are designed for ADHD and autistic children with their parents and carers - we use gentle movement and simple breathing to feel more grounded and regulated.

There’s no pressure to get things “right” just space to move, pause and take things at their own pace.

A lot of people think yoga is about being flexible.

It isn’t.

You don’t need to be able to touch your toes, balance, or know any poses.

In my sessions, it’s simply an hour to put everything else aside and find space for yourself. A time to breathe, and to move as much (or as little) as you like.

No group sessions next week because of the Easter holidays. We’re back for gentle yoga on Thursday 23 April.

A slower week over here.

No yoga sessions over the Easter holidays, so no rushing around, and a little bit more space.

I always notice how uncomfortable that can feel at first… like I should be doing something.

But often this is where my body (and mind!) catches up, and gets me ready for what’s to come.

So if you’re feeling a bit restless this week, you’re not doing it wrong.

Hellooooo 👋 In this week’s gentle yoga we’ll be moving slowly through twists, stretches and balances… we’re a small, friendly group of beginners and returners. There’s no pressure to perform, just space to move your body at your own pace to build strength and flexibility.
