Everyone knows that antibiotics disrupt the gut microbiome, but in a paper published last month in Cell, researchers at Stanford have identified 141 drugs – including common medications - that alter the microbiome with even short-term treatments creating enduring changes, entirely wiping out some microbial species. The primary force behind how the community responds to drug inhibition was competition for nutrients.

We believe that all beef and dairy products from cows whose feed contains additives used for reducing methane emissions, should be labelled to state that this is the case, so the public can decide whether to consume or not, instead of consuming unknowingly. We believe it should be our choice.
