Yoga can help bring the body and mind into balance, build strength and well being, increase flexibility and reduce stress. It can be particularly helpful for women in the preparation for child birth, labour and beyond. I have been practising yoga for over 20 years and am a fully qualified yoga teacher, who specialises in pregnancy and postnatal yoga. My passion for yoga developed into a thirst for

knowledge so in 2003 I embarked and completed a teacher training course (RYS500) with Ruth White at the Karuna Yoga Centre, certified and inspired by BKS Iyengar. Yoga is a significant part of my life and I have been lucky enough to experience a vast array of yoga styles and meet some wonderful spiritual teachers all over the world. Despite practising yoga throughout my first pregnancy, it was my second pregnancy that prompted me to delve a little deeper so I completed the Pregnancy Teacher Training at Tri yoga in London and more recently their Postnatal training. Yoga has become invaluable to me personally and I often wonder how I would cope without it!

Welcome February, Imbolc & The Fullness of the Moon 🌕🌼February seems shorter, brighter, full of Love and all together more manageable… Imbolc from Sunset on the 1st until Sunset on the 2nd (the cross quarter festival between the winter solstice and the spring equinox) Spring energy is stirring and the light is returning! Tread carefully, if you do not ground or feel supported you can feel overwhelmed and burnt out as this dynamic energy creeps in. Over the next few weeks continue to shed & let go of habits, people and obligations that do not serve you…declutter where you can; then set specific intentions to move forward 🙌🏻
