First run out in the new kit last night with both shirt sponsors taking part on the match and Ryan Tommo Thompson getting on the scoresheet in a 5-2 win for the Men-Talk.Uk Whippets.. Delighted that 10 ladies Kimberley Whitington Lauren Horn Ella Elderfield Evie Jones Tracy Leeson Leisha & Leah took part in the match and the quality of football from these girls continues to improve…. 👌👏Super strikes from Abby Brown & Ava added to 5 goals scored by the winning team and a poachers finish from Kerry Spice started off proceedings. For the yellows training regulars captain Keaysie & Aaron Freeman scoring the two goals. Special mentions to George Turner making his debut after turning 16 with team favourite Sean “the woodpecker “ Wood missing through illness get well soon and hope to see you back soon 🫶 Also best wishes to Rob Butcher who injured his Achilles during the match.. Special thanks to Declan Jantowski for refereeing the match and his pick for player of the match for the winning team was Abby Brown with Yellow l’s captain Keaysie picking Leisha Gull as the yellow player of the match for her solid performance in defence.. Finally we had a great support last night resulting in £225 being raised which will passed on to Ryan and the men talk team in sheerness who continue to do fantastic work for men’s mental health in the local community 💚💙🐾⚽️

Big shout out to those local businesses who continue to support us by donating their hard earned money each month 🙏🏼

We really do appreciate you and your efforts! 🫵🏻

We currently have 7 ongoing businesses who donate each month, so we’re now looking to see if any other businesses are out there able to add to this list which helps the longevity of our community based organisation Men-Talk.Uk 👏🏼

Money raised is spent on:

❗️Hub rent where groups and counselling sessions are held ✅
❗️Utilities such as electric ⚡️
❗️Free counselling session in the form of cognitive behavioural therapy, for those most in need 👍🏼
❗️Cleaning products, tea, coffee milk etc to keep the hub inviting and comfortable 🥛 ☕️
❗️Support for additional projects and activities to help raise awareness 🫡

We know how tough things are out there, so don’t put yourself under any unnecessary pressure, but anyone looking to support us on a monthly basis please don’t hesitate to get in touch 🫶🏼
